It's a Girl!
Catherine Anne Brennan was 8lb 2 oz at birth. She weighed 7lb 14 oz when we checked her out of the hospital 25 hours later.
She later weighed in at her Dr.'s office at 8lb 14 oz. That is a full pound of growth, an increase of 12.7% total body weight, in just 12 days! She also added 1/2 inch to her body length in this short time.
If she continues to grow at her phenomenal rate, then by her 21st birthday she will weigh approximately 5.9 x 10^30 tons, or about 1 billion times the present mass of the Earth.
We are hoping that she will have moved out of the house by then.
